This is a hymn with a Canadian flavour as the words were written by John Douglas Sutherland Campbell, Duke of Argyll and Marquis of Lorne while he was visiting Hamilton Ontario. The Hills refer to are the Niagara Escarpment. The tune is Sandon by Charles Purday (1799-1885).
